I'm into nothing but making good music. I got respect for any artist out there who takes what they do seriously. I'm from Oakland, CA born and raised. Pushing for the opportunity to get myself out there so I can carry the rest of my people on my back. The main thing is not forgetting where you come from and not turning your back on the people who were there when you had nothing. I just keep my ear to the streets and stay on my grind.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows you to reach out to an audience that you normally couldn't. I'm hoping it will give me the opportunity to work with some independent artist and reach out to their fan base and also allow them to reach out to mine. You can never have enough connections.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Who wouldn't? If the money's right of course. There are certain labels I wouldn't work with though. I've just seen so many artist get f***ed over. I'm not trying to be in the same situation.

Your influences?
I'm influenced by my environment.. So much goes on in my area.. Though I do put out that gangsta shit, I'm going to take the time to touch on some real life subjects that catch my attention..
