I used to be Carolina Kyd as people from home called me Kyd and i moved elsehwere and they called me Carolina Kyd

Once I hit 21, I wanted to eliminate "Kyd" and create an original pen name and acronym. "C. Khid".... Cannot Kill How I'm Dreaming or Cannot Kill How I Dream was what I developed the acronym into..... as in I'm never going to stop going for mine and i will win no matter what in this lifetime.

Today, the world has lot of people that doubt so-called 'loved ones' and what those 1s believe they are capable of. Me, I'm a true friend til' the end for all the people that believe in me.

I rapped llive like once or twice. Was hilarious because I came back from a college break to get with the people i rapped with.. and they didn't tell me you could not curse at this mall talent showcasing by the radio station.. so I'm just saying all kinds of stuff from the rap and people start looking at me like i'm crazy as i walk off... is what it is though .. was fun

Plain and simple, the mp3 world gives budding artists more opportunity for exposure. Mp3 is such a common thing from the i-pods and all that to the desktop computer, everyone can play them. GREAT EXPOSURE and potentially good money if they find a way to control it.

Sure. I'm working until I can at least get a high 6-figure or 7 figure music contract. If I get the right money, a solid marketing vision, and control of my music/art I will sign a deal.

I'm inspired by all the music I have heard in my life. The character behind the artist, if authentic, made me appreciate their craft to the point I would follow their career. Below are names I really studied and tried to capture the essence of. REAL MUSIC ARTISTS that influenced me:

2Pac Shakur -
gave much knowledge and heart

Sade -
Nobody has really tried to heal the hearts of the world like Sade. A soldier of Love, her music

Andre 3000 -
His unique character really showed a different side of Hip-Hop and made individualism ok

Michael Jackson -
I feel the music he put out was always about BUILDING a person up, but gave some realities too. Songs such as "They Dont Care About Us" and "Remember The Time" will always be incredible to me

John Lennon / The Beatles -
John Lennon was a great thinker in many ways. I see he had faults like any man but he also had a scope of the world most of us will never know. Songs from the beatles like 'I Want Money' or Lennon's "Imagine" are incredible compositions

Bob Marley -
I dont think you can ever say enough about Bob Marley. In a league of his own, all of his music was powerful and a driving force for the justice amongst men. I listen to his music, study his biographies and interviews, and devour any information he leaks.

I love everywhere I've been. Mauldin/Greenville, Charleston, Myrtle Beac, and Columbia South Carolina! Charlotte, North Carolina is my favorite downtown night scene in the Southeast.

New York City is my 2nd home. Las Vegas, NV is my 3rd home.

San Jose, Costa Rica and Toronto, Canada are my international homes for now.
