play lo-fi play hi-fi  You Aint On MY Level
David formally known as "Dizzy Dizasta" noted as being a versitile artist was born to Hip-hop. Dizzy started off his rap career by doing little battles here and there eventually giving him the name as a battle MC. Dizasta has worked with many artist such as Larry Cheeba, Ariez & Rugged, M Dot, Special Teamz, Cash-"da paypa boi", Leo Nellz, NitePeople Prod. and many others. Without yet putting out his own peace of work he’s featured on many ill projects such as Ariez' first mixtape"Expect the Unexpected", Larry Cheeba’s "Ice Pick Vol.2", and the up and coming "Mass Movements" by Leedz Edutainment. The launch-pad for promotions came with my introduction to Str8 Up Ent back in October of 2003 for the Redman, Kieth Murray, and Erick Sermon followed by a series of his own productions under ZP Ent. Integrity is said be obvious to the masses by a mans actions, Then through the course of this artists lyrical delivery let it be seen. Although his "Step ya game up" swagger may be noticable upon m eeting this artist.
Why this name?
Well Dizasta is my chosen name and not for the definition given in the Urban Dictionary neither. More so for the amount of chaos that I create & the trail of destruction left on stage typically.
Do you play live?
Worcester, Mass born and raised, Yes I enjoy livin here yet I have no fears for travel and look forward to much of it in the future.
Check the adventures of Str8-Up Entertainment & the artists there.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Makes music more accessible and easier for the artist to gain their own funds for their works of art, as it gets sold, not when the companies make their cuts and interests for investment.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the deal and the label.
Band History:
My start into this poetic status of my life began as a preteen and developed quite fast. By the age of 13 I was recording for my first time at "Sky Line Studios" in Boston with Larry cheeba & many others from the 508-617 area codes. From there the path takes me down a road of learning and progression, with mixed adventures while being a street promoter for Str8-Up Entertainment.
Now with an expected release sometime this year and several projects on the table, I seem to getting more work in the studio done then I do on the final product for my first release.
Your influences?
My influences are the greats from my area and some are even legends in their own time. Ed OG, Krumb Snatcha, Larry Cheeba, Jace, DJ Shame, Kaz, Dre Robinson, M-Dot & Akro.
