Band History:
A lyrical phenomenon is what he is known as at only the age of eighteen, he's known as the young man with the golden old hip-hop days flavor. He started in the music industry at the tender age of only ten years old, Dizzy started out as a youth reporter interviewing major celebrities with his young brother K.J. for a local entertainment paper known as “Just for Kids”. After interviewing major celebrities and professional athletes and reporting the news to his hometown fans for several years he and his younger brother began recording songs and where known all around Las Vegas and Los Angeles as Lil’ Ronnie and K.J. As a group they performed at several local events and even opened up a show for B2K before the boy band broke up. After deciding to add their close friend Young D, the group felt they would change their name as well as their image and became everywhere as DaFuture.

From the dirty, dirty down south in Atlanta all the way to the West Coast the young three man group had begun creating quite a buzz for themselves. It was just before Young D was getting ready to head off to college that there were some problems between management and Young D’s parents and the group decided to go its separate ways. After moving to the Los Angeles area, Dizzy and K.J. spent a summer recording new songs with their Uncle Layzie Bone, of the multi-platinum rap group Bone thug-n-harmony. During this time the two brothers recorded a song with Cassidy while in the studio with Swizz Beatz. As a result of family problems, the teenagers of a single mom decided to really focus on school and give music a little rest as their mom simply could not afford to put anymore money into their young careers. Now a little over a year and a half later and preparing to graduate in June, Dizzy has stepped out on his own as a solo performer.

While in pursuit of the right deal Dizzy plans to spread positive energy through his music and allow people to not only groove to his songs but be able to understand his young perception of life through his dynamic and crystal clear ability to flow in a variety of styles to a variety of speaker bumping beats.

When asked what is his outlook on life is at this point in his life, having just turned 18 years old he replies “I learned that you can be the coolest kid on the block and still have a good head on your shoulders; education is the key to the future, it’s important no matter what career you are pursuing”.

Dizzy admits that winning the award for Best Hip-Hop Group at a previous Las Vegas Music Award was one of his greatest moments to date. He is hoping to win many more awards once his music hits the streets and can be heard everywhere. “I feel that it's been put on me to make it” was his response when asked what made him decide to step out on his own and go solo after being a part of a group for his entire career.

Over the years Dizzy has been in the studio and had the pleasure to work with Layzie Bone, Cassidy, Swizz Beatz, Miracle and many others including Mike Jackson formerly of the R & B group Portrait. He's worked with producers such as Gerard Thomas who has produced hit records on Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, Destiny's Child, Mario, American Idol Winner, Ruben Studdard and many, many more. Having been offered several record deals while part of DaFuture, unfortunately, none of those deals were the right fit. Patiently waiting for the right time, right element and right song, Dizzy is sure to head straight for the top with his own swag and new single "Swag It Out" to be released independently sometime soon.
