Well, welcome to my little space on Soundclick. The following musical contributions are basically concept pieces that started off as ideas thanks to the Guitarist Recording Collective (Google for it) - A great site that encourages guitarists of all ages and abilities to create their own works.
Nowadays, I play in a band, so I don't have as much time for recording as I would like to, but I would recommend to any musician who feels they are not progressing to start recording, and getting music out on the internet. You probably won't become famous or rich, but once you've done it, you might just be amazed at what you achieve!

Why this name?
The name came about from a nickname I had in Cyprus. Trelloskilos roughly translates to "Mad Dog" in Greek
Do you play live?
I play live with my band, "Corset's Knot" - We're still a newly formed covers band, but already have gigs lined up. - The best thing about the band is the total lack of egos or prima-donna syndromes that plague many bands. We're always laughing, joking and having a great time when we practice, and we have all become good friends in a short period of time. We're also able to lock in a groove pretty well too.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Firstly, I think the music industry made a big mistake in not embracing the technology. The whole history of the music industry trying to suppress file sharing is a bit like King Canute trying to turn the tide.
My thoughts on the music industry are too detailed to go into in the space of a paragraph or two, but generally speaking, the music indutry has exposed itself as an archaic behemoth that needs complete restructuring, and needs to actually care for the artists and bands that are involved in it rather than trying to scare people with a string of copyright lawsuits.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't think I would. I guess it's flattering to have someone with enough clout to come up to you and tell you you'r going to be a star, shove some money in your face and tell you to start writing songs, but I've heard too many horror stories where even successful bands have been ripped off due to contractual stipulations.
Band History:
About 4 years ago, I hit a brick wall with my playing. I discovered a cool guitarists community on the internet that introduced me to the collective. It wasn't a life-changing esperience, but it was the biggest breakthrough in my playing, and writing music. I was nervous and terrified that my efforts would be laughed at, but the responses I got encouraged me, and before I knew it, I was over my 'brick wall'
Your influences?
I am currently trying to get as many genres into my playing. You may hear a little blues, funk, metal or whatever. I guess that if I lapse into a comfort zone, I become a lax player.
Favorite spot?
Aphrodite's Rock, Cyprus at sunset with a couple of beers.

Anything else...?
Yeah. My music is just concept stuff. Don't take anything too seriously (I certainly don't), or expect sonic perfection. Criticism is welcome, but if you don't like something, please tell me why. It all helps me to improve myself as a guitar player
