Brian Walther has traveled the world as a musician and professional wrestler over the last 20 years. His music is a blend of Country and Americana with a touch of Rock and Roll.
Why this name?
Well, My momma gave me the name and I figured if it's good enough for her, it's good enough for me.
Do you play live?
Currently, I play live in my church worship band (Drums & sometimes Bass) but as far as my solo project and original music, it is very sporadic due to where I live and the very limited venues to perform in.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has leveled the playing field for independent artists of all kinds. You don't need major record labels or a large distribution company to get your music out to the masses or dictate what direction you want to go in creatively.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but only if I had complete creative control.
Band History:
I have been in bands throughout my musical journey from bands like the Country/Punk legends Eddie and the Shitheads (Vocals & Bass) in the 1980's to Blues/Rock bands like Steel River (Keyboards) and numerous bar/cover bands playing drums or bass guitar.
Your influences?
My main musical influences would have to be John Mellencamp, Chris Knight, Bob Dylan, and John Hiatt
Favorite spot?
My favorite city would have to be Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Equipment used:
A little bit of everything.
