Just Need to Have You
Jeffy James is a solo artist who resides in Leominster, Massachusetts. Jeffy James can also be seen playing rhythm guitar and singing back-up vocals in a band called Heroic After Hours. Check out their myspace if you'd like HERE.
Why this name?
Many friends called me by the nickname Jeffy.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well, it depends. I don't wanna be told what to do with my music, so, I'd probably sign an independant label.
Your influences?
The Black Keys, The White Stripes, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Raconteurs, Dan Aeurbach, and many many more.
Equipment used:
Marshall Valvestate 8240 Stereo Chorus with 2 x 12" speakers, 40 watts going into each. I use a Hamer XT series guitar. I also have an Ibanez GAX70 which I don't use very often and of course my first guitar, a Squire Strat which I almost never use. I have a few foot pedals as well. One Rocktek distortion pedal, a Boss GE-7 EQ, a Ibanez Smash Box, and a Behringer Blues Overdrive.
