Greetings and welcome to my page, I've been working on creating a new genre of blues music that will give you a new perspective on the spirit of music. Theres is a amusing side of lifes tales, that i've tryed to capture as a song writer. Also i have reunited with drummer for my highdesert smoke signals project Ryan Cox to record a second album along with Miss.Joanna Kid to contribute to the vacals in the next smoke signals c.d.
Why this name?
Pops is a name that was given to me by my sons and the next thing you know well? thats my stage name.
Do you play live?
I have been playing on the weekends primarily on sundays at Littlerock Dam in Palmdale Ca. For info. 1-661-533-1923. and now have plans to take bookings for events and bbq parties have music will travel contact :blindogproductions@yahoo.com
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives the liittle guy an opportunity to showcase their art.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would welcome such an opportunity!
Band History:
My interest in music started developing at a very young age, I use to stand up on my parents backyard fence as a boy and listen to our neighbor Jack play old blues and jazz albums while he BBQ'D in his back yard. And over the past five years after a thirty year break from music i've been forming music projects like The Brotherhood of Tyme Blues Band and HighDesert Smoke Signals rock project with talent of all back-grounds that deffinitly help to bring this unique flavor of music some of the contributing members have been Papa Dave Trujillio, Ryan Cox, Albert Avila, Carlos Munioz, Luis Calzadillas jr., Matt Wyckoff, and John Mc Cammon and there are still more to come in the coming year!
Your influences?
Jimi Hendrix,BB King,Stevie Ray Von,Buddy Guy, Aswell as all the great music artist i grew up listening to. Ther are have been and will always be influences in music thats what makes the music world go round.

Monteray,Ca.
Equipment used:
I'm currently using a tascam porta studio thats works great! I have all the track capability that i desire and achieve great sound qaulity!
