GASTON Former "TOWNCRYER" guitarist Vic Gaston, announces his first solo effort. "Sad, sad song" is one of the songs that will appear on the CD.
" This is a song I wrote in '94 and wanted to include it on the CD because to me it still has that up-lifting groove that feels timeless. It received air time on OKC's Katt Radio local talent show from 95 to 01. The other songs on the CD are newly written" I hope you like it, Listen to it loud. Vic Gaston

Why this name?
Last name.
Do you play live?
TOWNCRYER played the OKC bar scene from '95 to '00, with a mix of copy tunes and originals.
As for the GASTON project I would like to play live, But I would need some help to pull it off I recorded all the parts on the CD myself. There is one song on the CD (God knows) Richard Sharp from the band "The Kill" played drums and Bass.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
This is great, I've been wanting to share my music on-line for a while now.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
Just TownCryer, we did go by "One of a kind" at first.
Your influences?
My musical influences range from Ted Nugent, Boston, Aerosmith (toys in the attic) , Bad Company. Too many to list.
Favorite spot?
Sedona, AZ. I once climbed Bell rock and filmed it all the way up. My girlfriend about "@$*^t" watching me do that one. The place has a cool vibe, and OKC is pretty great as well.
Equipment used:
Fender, Schecter, Marshall, Crate, Line 6, M Audio, Boss and Mac to name a few.
Anything else...?
Recorded at Vibraphone Studio OKC, OK.
