My name is Authi. I am a solo music producer who loves music. I'm in the process of building a studio that will cause a "movement" once it's built. I love to take old music from "back in the day" and sample it to make something new, as well as making Original music that is unforgettable to the ears of my listeners.
Why this name?
Authi - Coming from the word Authentic meaning "having the origin supported by unquestionable evidence."
Do you play live?
I play drums, and keyboard. I play live with 2 groups that I'm currently working with. The first group is a poetry/music group named "POETIC HARMONY." (they are hott) The second group I work with is a Rap/Hip Hop group by the name of "LEGACY." (hotness as well)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes the music industry in a way that can never be changed again. The internet provides all kinds of access, by means of lyrics, music, tech support info. Anything that you would like to know, buy, sell, and things of that sort can be done through the internet with the click of a button.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Heck to the Yes. I've tried the whole "Artist" title. And after a few months of being slapped around by people who said I was no good at rapping, aI decided that I will stick to music, and found it more fun and less stressful to be the "behind the scenes" guy who makes the music.

Your influences?
I am really influenced by Salsa, Merengue, Bachata (all hispanic music) Why, you might ask? Because the music theory and creativity in is unbelievable. And that's my culture so I love to listen to it. I love hard hitting hip hop, Smooth RnB, Neyo Soul, and pretty much anything that has a catchy melody and unforgettable rhythms.
