We are No Reception, the four of us got together because of our mutual love of rock and roll and although it's not currently a living for us, it is a way of life.
Why this name?
We chose our name because of our sound. It's a little less mainstream than what generally dominates the radio so we figured we would probably get less recognition (reception) than other groups.
Do you play live?
We do play live, mostly at clubs, parties, and community festivals. Playing live is what we live for, whenever the crowd is into it, we are into it. The more fun they have, the more fun we have.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the mp3 has influenced the fact that the industry is more about singles than albums. most bands have one song that sells, and people don't necessarily have to buy the whole album anymore.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the opportunity is presented, we would do it just to know that we didn't pass it up in the future.
