Why this name?
The name was originally inspired by my ace boone coon, my nigga, my compadre...Young Paps of Dough Boy Records...I used to go by the name 'Pimp C' or 'Lil Chip' cuz my tooth was chipped...but I wasnt no pimp or anything close to a pimp 'AT THAT TIME' nor was my tooth still chipped....so while choppin convo wit my n*** Pap$, throwin names out there suggested 'Kayda' and I always had a gift for this rap sh*** and been known to 'spit heat'...so I was like 'Yeah...Kayda...I Like That' ...and I rode wit it since then so in actuality I got my name from my n*** Pap$. The name Kayda came from a gun called an AK-47, in the streets you call a AK-47 a 'Kayda'. AK-47's spit heat, I spit heat, lyrically, so thats how I adopted the name Kayda. Another artist from the Bay Area decided to use that name AFTER me, whom I know personally (Thizz Ent's Kata of The Fendi Boyz also known as Young Ant) so, since the name was taken, I always was into mafioso or italian type names so I added Luchiano to give me the name Kayda Luchiano.

It gives you an outlet to be heard ANYWHERE.....U could have fans in China from the internet....your not limited to you own city or even your own country....

Your influences?
All Northern Cali Artist.....I like just about all of em...Im from Vallejo so I would say the whole AWOL Camp from back in the day (C-BO, Lunasicc, Killa Tay, Mob Figaz, etc..) Mac Dre and E-40 are what got me to love rap and actually wanna do it as oppose to being just a listener of it.
