At the moment...I AM "The Band". LOL
I have my own home studio and am currently working on a project that I hope to post soon. I will be covering most, if not all, the instruments myself as I play Guitar (Lead, Bass, and Rhythm). Also some Keyboards (nothing fancy), Drums, and Harmonica...and vocals.

Why this name?
When I was much younger I worked with an old guy who's favorite saying was "What ever you do - Go Like The Guns Of Hell!!!"
...and I have always lived by that.

Do you play live?
I do play live, but not very often. When I get "the bug" I sit in with local bands.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet (or mp3) is an awesome tool for musicians, making their music widely available to those that otherwise would probably never even know you existed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell Yes!!!
Your influences?
OMG - where would I even begin?
I have so many influences by some many different bands/music. Everything from Blues to Southern gut wrenching Guitars (ala. Molly Hatchet, Outlaws, Marshall Tucker, Skynyrd, etc.) to 70's Arena (Emerson, Lake, and Palmer; YES, etc.) to CSN&Y....Ted Nugent, Foghat, Deep Purple - to Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, AC/DC....to Billy Cobham, John McLaughlin, Al di Meola, Stanley Clarke, Chick Corea...Return to Forever/Weather Report...to Eric Johnson, Ry Cooder, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Carlos Santana, to even some Country.
And that's probably not even scratching the surface.

Equipment used:
I currently use a 1979 Les Paul Kallamazoo (this is my Battle Axe), a 2001 Big Apple Strat, an Alverez Yari 12 string acoustic, a Marlboro 6 string (yes, that I actually got from Marlboro! - that's a LOT of smokin' - LOL), a Peavey 5150 stack, a Marshall 100 watt Stack, Line 6 POD UX2 Pod Farm (for recording), Hohner Harmonicas (C and B), a Casio Keyboard (hey...it sounds GREAT thru my Marshall!), and 6 SM58's along with various effects pedals.
Anything else...?
Let's see....my big claim to fame was breaking the Guinness Book Of World Records at Guitar Center, Chicago. I played my guitar, in a marathon, for 11 1/2 days (276 hours) back in the summer of '86.
Guess that's about it.
