Hello, my name is Deborah Carter(Kassanna) and thanks for stopping by my page. I'm a mother, wife and grandmother who's passion is writing song lyrics. I'm not a singer nor musician but have a love for music.writing lyrics is my contribution to the music world.
I've been so fortunate to have found some wonderful collaborators online that have brought my lyrics to life with their melodies and vocals. I'm also honored to have worked with others as a co-writer. I'm unpublished at the moment but am working diligently to improve upon my writing skills with the possibility of becoming published one day and maybe even getting an album cut. I hope you find something here that you like.
I'd like to take a moment to personally thank Lou Ferguson,Ronnie Gough,Joe Kolb,Rick Kresiak,Charles Bernier and DonPaul Moore. Each have contributed their time and talents and without them I'd still only have words on paper. I may never become rich or famous but I do hope that something I write will touch someone.

Why this name?
I've been using the name Kassanna for over 10 years. It began as a pen name for posting my poetry and I've used it ever since
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the music industry could benefit a lot by mp3. Although there is a lot of controversy over downloading, places such as soundclick provide a place to showcase new talent that might otherwise go un-noticed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would take it under consideration
Your influences?
I have many musical influences..but I sound Like ME
Favorite spot?
I would have to say the hills of W.Va...beauty in simplicity (almost Heaven)
