Just me, with a few internet friends!!!!! I loved playing in live bands, but I'm not getting any younger, so the home recording thing is perfect for me. There's no loading/unloading the gear, no driving for hours to get to the gig, I don't have to tolerate drunken audience members, no arguing with band members (who also might be drunk! HA!!!), just me doing something I really love in the comfort of my home......
Why this name?
Actually, that's my job title at my "real" job, & is a username in one of my favorite forums, so it just kinda "stuck".....
Do you play live?
Not anymore.........
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's great, gave me a whole new perspective on music. I've learned a lot of new things about music, & made lots of new friends in the process. I'd never been able to learn a lot of things about recording, if not for the internet....
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would depend on several things, but I would probably jump on a chance like that.
Band History:
I played in several local bands for several years..........
Your influences?
Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Robin Trower, ZZ Top, Van Halen, Alice In Chains just to name a few, but mainly guitar based heavy/hard rock from the 60's thru now have influenced me in some way I'm sure.......
