Well, AJ and Mike met in 2005 and started talking about music, in about 2007 or 08 Mike and AJ started the band, but didn't have a name. Around late 08, Mike and AJ stayed up on AIM and talk a bit about name and came up with AS DAWN DIES.

Anyway, Mike met JR and started talking. Then JR did a cover of 7861 by Beneath the Sky. And AJ and Mike thought it was Beast as shit. so, now we're here looking for new member.

All members of the band are influenced by Bullet for my Valentine, Cancer Bats and As I Lay Dying.
