SoundClick artist: DJ Synchro - I produce techno, trance, hard house and electronic and hard trance.

My name is Richard, I have been producing dance music since i was 15 years old. I used to mess with keyboards and synths to make music, but now I use music software. Going Back. I didnt have a style or structure to my music. but I somehow I found my unique way and style. And I have had some of my songs played on local radio and a few foreign local radio. I have played live on camfrog and Paltalk. Many people has given me positive feedback and grown to like my style of music.

Why this name?

Just to get this straight, I am not a DJ. I actually produce music. I was given that name DJ Synchro by my best friends little kid. But I couldn't upset the poor kid and so the name stuck.

Do you play live?

I have not played anywere. But some of my music has been played in a New York Club. and in a few other US clubs, and local radio's and foreign radio.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet has changed vastly. something I learnt is that you download carefully. as there are so many viruses and stupid patches and trojans embedded in mp3's and on some of these music sites. I think there could be a better way to protect our music online and I think the internet can do with a Global filterring system. they got the money so it can be done.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Not sure yet on that subject. As at the moment I produce music for pleasure and a hobby.

Band History:

I started to produce my own music when I was 15. I used small keyboards, then got a few professional synths. and I started to take it alot serious. it became my number one thing in my life, and stil today music is my first, last and everything. No I use music software and various samples and Vst's.

Your influences?

80's has been a big infuence. Since the digital age of music started to come in, it's been my driving force and infuencial of my music today.

Favorite spot?

I dont have a favourite as I have never travelled abroad. But Would love to go to the USA. and Japan.

Equipment used:

A pc and I use Music software for sampling, vsti's/vsti for virtual synth's. and various software to help to get the right sounds, vox's and elements to make songs. Mainly I use Fruityloops as my main production of my music.
