About the song
It's a co-write with Nad Sylvan of Sweden and was kindly named a "Track of the Year" in 2005 by Steve Gilmore.

(Jan 2013 Congratulations to Nad on being featured on Steve Hackett's latest double album "Genesis Revisited 11" and also being on tour with him this year)

Based on the music from my existing song "Where's the hand?" was kindly recorded and produced by Nad who I'd approached knowing what a dynamic and talented artist and producer he is.
I was thrilled that he agreed without any hesitation.
I feel the vocals/guitar work are superb.

In 2005 the song was linked to a major Charity working to build a Children's Hospital in Sri Lanka.

About tsunamis/tidal waves
It's debatable whether or not a tsunami is a tidal wave, but after reading the following link, I used my artistic licence.

Lyrics
We pray for answers
As we look up to the sky,
There are no answers,
But we can’t help asking why.

Deep in the ocean,
An earthquake made it’s roar,
Against all the innocent,
It waged it’s war.

CHORUS
As the tidal wave rolled in
The tidal wave rolled in
The tragedy unfurled…
A wave of sorrow round the world.

We search for answers
As we look up to the sky,
There are no answers…
But we keep on asking why.
