Bump is an American Rap/Hip-Hop artist, and wants to share his music with the public.
Why this name?
The name Bump, I got from my father. When I was a small small child, I would always crawl, or Bump, into walls, hence the name Bump.
Do you play live?
I play live, less than I would like to, ha, but I will play anywhere in New England. I love to play live, everytime I'm on stage it's like a dream. My best moment on stage was Feb. 8th 2009 when I played my first solo set, and at the end every one there was chanting my name!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Promotion, but also it limits record sales because more and more people download, but the internet is the best promotion to be able to have your music played by anybody in the world is so surreal.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, for me, it's all about the music, but I also have something to say. I would love for a wider audience to hear my message whether it's mainstream or underground.
Band History:
Bump started rapping when he was twelve, and it was all a dream. What Bump then started to do was write. Bump loved rap, and Hip Hop, and around the age of 13 he got into it more, and more.
