It really wasn't a hard process. When we first got together to record some tracks "Faith N Lunic" just clicked, so went with that.

It gives artists easier access to put out their music. For the last couple of years, the opportunity for promoting one's music has increased.

Yes. That's one of the things that we hope to accomplish along the way.

FaithnLunic’s history refers all the way back to the year 2001, when members Milad Mazloumi aka “Lunic” and Sami Siddiqui aka “Faith” first met and the two became very close friends not long after that. Their musical journey did not begin until the year 2004, when Lunic decided to release his first solo album “Word of da Streets,” in which Faith made his first appearance on a track under the alias “Kinara” at the time. The track was called “2 Hot 2 Handle,” but it wasn’t a successful hit. A short period after that, Faith had to move to a different location which led the members to be distant from one another for quite some time.

Lunic continued to pursue his love for Hip Hop music, leading him to release his official debut album “The Lunic Eclipse,” around April 2007. “The Lunic Eclipse” was more successful than “Word of da Streets,” including original production and a more serious outlook on music. The music did not stop there. Not long after, Lunic released his sophomore album “Brutal” just a couple months after that, providing his audience with a darker mood than his previous album. Since then, Lunic has continued to release plenty of mixtapes and other group albums (such as “TLA on the Way” and “Not a Statistic” with close friend “Authority” from rap duo “TLA”) under his name.

In late 2007, Faith and Lunic reconciled and at once created “FaithnLunic,” a hip hop/r&b/alternative music group in which they claim is “The New Concept.” The group is currently working on their debut album, which is set to be released sometime in 2009. As of now, they have a few material from their mixtape out, which will be released very soon.

FaithnLunic promises a new direction and feeling for music everywhere. Coming straight from Northern VA, their music covers a lot of social issues, as well as where their position stands in this Hip Hop game.

Our influences can range from R&B to Hip-Hop to anything alternative.
