Junkrod is a Rock and Roll power trio based in Baltimore, Maryland USA. Featuring “Junkrod” Joe on Guitar & Vocals, Darren “Drunkrod” Daniels on Electric Bass, and Matty “Bo-Hemian" on drums. The band is heavily influenced by dirty, swampy blues, garage, punk, surf, and psychobilly and covers lyrical themes of dark places and demolition derbies to roller girls, retribution, and redemption.
Do you play live?
We play all over the country and about once a month in Baltimore when we're here.
Band History:
Since 2002, the band has built a reputation as a live act not to be missed sharing the stage with such acts as Scott H. Biram, Danzig, Hank III, The Necromantix, The Koffin Kats, The Pine Box Boys, The Chop Tops, Throw Rag, and JB Beverly to name a few. In addition, Junkrod has indepedantly toured nationally and has also rocked some of the better known indie events on the East Coast like Winston Salem’s Heavy Rebel Weekender, The Mobtown Greaseball, and various tattoo conventions. Junkrod entered and won Baltimore’s 99.1 WHFS battle of the bands title over a field of 30 entries in 2003. In 2007 the band’s single “Wreckin’ Ball” was adopted as The Charm City Roller Girls official theme song.

Lafayette, Indiana and Cleveland Ohio are our favorite spots to play
