ReCITER stands for Representing Christ In The Earthly Realm, I chose this name because I feel as a Christian I'm Christs representative on Earth.. I also see Jeremiah 15:19 as a place where my name was inspired.. It says if we repent we will be restored to serve the Lord and speak for Him..
Reciter means someone who recites, as an MC I just recite words over a beat.. So my name has a lot of meaning..

No I don't play live.. Hope to eventually though..
I have done a few open mics but not too often..

The internet has changed the music industry immensely.. Now its possible for people all over the world to hear your music without spending a penny on publicity or marketing..

I dunno?? It would depend on the conditions of the deal..
My dream is to have my own label, so probably not..

I started writing in late 2005, early 2006.. I recorded my first track after my friend died in October 2006, I used a £7 mic from Argos and free software..
From then I wrote a few more tracks but didn't do much with them..
In summer 2007 I saw some Christian emcee's at Soul Survivor, that really inspired me and that's when I started to write Gospel tracks..

My main influence is God, without Him I wouldn't be able to do any of this..
Lyrically I really respect people like Eminem, Kanye West, TI, and Nas.. They can be complex and simple at the same time, and make nonsense sound good, incredible lyricists..
When I'm listening to music, I tend to listen mainly to Urban stuff from the UK and the USA.. But I also love rock music, I'm hoping to do a track soon with lots of guitars and live drums, a real Linkin Park or P.O.D. sound..

More recently (late 08-09) I been listening to more and more Gospel Garage/Grime and thats influenced my style and content alot..

I don't travel much really.. I do like it in London though..

Hardware: MPC 1000, Shure SM58, Behringer Xenyx 1202 mixer, and an M-Audio Oxygen 8 V2 MIDI Controller.. I wont talk about my PC, it's shameful <--(NEW PC - Still wont talk bout it though!)
Software: Magix Music Maker 12 Deluxe, Magix Music Editor 2.0, Albeton Live Lite, and Audacity..
Not an expensive set-up and not top quality but it does the job..
