Personal Project. Acoustic rock, bite-sized songs, all under 5 minutes.
Why this name?
Randomly. And someone probably still already has used it...somewhere
Do you play live?
I have played live in bands, in the past. I love playing out. My special moment was playing for the drummer from the Dead Kennedies.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
lots more songs floating around. Easier to share, harder to stand out. Anyone can broadcast now.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Most deals aren't that great. I'd probably make a lot less money if I did, so other than for hubris, there's not really much incentive to do so
Band History:
I'm a singer, songwriter that has been mostly in metal bands over the years. I started recording acoustic versions of my older songs, because I plain don't know how to mix the 'wall of sound' that I hear in my brain when I write these things!
Your influences?
Mike Patton, Sublime, Soundgarden, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Pete Yorn, Elliot Smith
Favorite spot?
San Francisco, baby!
Equipment used:
Sonar 5 on Dell XPS, M-Audio Ultra for input, Pod 2.0 for guitars, BFD for drum programming.
