Why this name?
In all honesty, we were recording at Ben's place and saw one of his dads paintings where the words "Ask The Sky" were written.
Do you play live?
Of course we play live! Is that even a legitimate question? We play everywhere we can, and we love every minute of it!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For the better. Seriously, who pays for music anymore? And why would a group you love ask you to pay for a ticket/ door to a show, then 5-10 bucks for a cd to enjoy them? You shouldn't have to pay to enjoy your favorite bands.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but it would take one LONG conversation, and there would have to be compromise.
Your influences?
We really dig music in general - and that includes all types when you talk about the band as a whole. The ones that come to mind when you talk about influencing our music; He Is Legend, From First To Last, 30 Seconds To Mars, The Mars Volta, My Chemical Romance, Muse, Afi, Saosin.... To name a few...
Favorite spot?
Minneapolis, duhhh.
