In the middle of the year 2000, Wolf Lutemkrat started to compose. Late that year, he had some riffs and ideas. After some experiences, he decided to play his music by himself (so Wolf Lutemkrat could write and play the music style he wants). LUTEMKRAT was formed at the beginning of the year 2002 as one-man-band. The word "Lutemkrat" may not have any real meaning, it's just a combination of a few words to express his philosophy.

In the end of that year, he had a few tracks. A demo material was recorded in his own studio. It sounded very raw, but his intentions was to do a better quality recording. In 2003 he recorded the MiniCD "Never Surrender" with 4 tracks: a black metal influenced extreme music with melodic parts and the true feeling for the old roots of metal. The first edition was sold in slipcase format limited to 66 copies hand numbered.

Now Wolf Lutemkrat is working in a full lenght CD. The result will be a mix beetween the old roots of black metal with his personal touch and feelings: extreme music accompanied with acoustic guitar interludes and again with melodic and aggressive parts.
