A native of the Pittsburgh area, Dana Fields is a chosen vessel of God and exemplifies the life of Christ through her devotion to God, family and ministry. Born in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, she is the younger of two daughters born to Rev. Dr. William and Rev. Dr. Barbara Terry.

Actively singing since age 3, Dana grew up as part of the family quartet which traveled to various churches and events throughout Western Pennsylvania. The rich family legacy of music and ministry have been past down to her for more than four generations.

She has been gifted by God to love the arts from singing, writing, and the visual arts. She is a singer/songwriter/lyricist at heart and chooses to use her gifts and talents to glorify God. Dana’s music ministry is power-packed with vibrant vocals and relevant lyrics that will elevate the listener to a higher realm of personal praise! Her style is a blend of Praise and Worship, Jazz, and R&B with a solid foundation of Gospel.

Some of her musical appearances include, Victorious Christian Women/Excellence Conferences, The Mighty Men of Valor National Men's Conferences, Pennsylvania Baptist Convention, Southern Baptist Convention, The Gospel Heritage Foundation-Praise and Worship Conference, Messiah College and the American Music Fest. She has opened for gospel recording groups such as Spirit Filled Ministries of Pittsburgh, PA, The Wilmington-Chester Mass Choir, The Gabriel Hardman Delegation, and Vicki Winans. She has also sung as a background vocalist for national and international gospel recording artists Steven Hurd, Tonex, Elder William Murphy, Yolanda Adams and Donnie McClurkin.

To enlarge her territories, God opened the door when she was cast for the role of Velma in the 2006 production of Regina Taylor’s Crowns at the Open Stage of Harrisburg. With the production being widely and well received, Crowns returned to the Open Stage for its 2nd season in May of 2007 where Dana reprised the role of soulful singing Velma.

She happily resides in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with her husband DeWayne of 16yrs and their two sons Dayne and Donovan.

Dana is a dynamic soloist, lyricist and praise leader. Her vibrant vocals will usher you into the presence of the Lord and cause you to celebrate Jesus with her.

She has completed her long awaited second CD Project entitled, "Nothing's Impossible". Check out the website for locations to purchase it.
