Well basically I am a music producer, who makes beats using FL Studio, and so been doing so for a year (when I wrote this).
Why this name?
Well my name is Mahfuz so for short people call me Mafs, so my producing name is Mafz Productions
Do you play live?
No I haven't yet played live in public, but if that includes my bedroom then yes I have :)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The music is more accessable than cd's or vynals, and its much easier to hear it on the net rather than on tv or radio, because you choose what you want to listen to and when
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If I had the opportunity and skill yes
Your influences?
My main influence's are other producers like Dr Dre, Timberland and so on, so my main influence is hiphop, but I do like indian style music so I kind of put a bit of that ethnic flavour into my beats.
I do actually get influenced by some music production sites. Such as or mainly 'www.warbeats.com' this is really the only place where I can get good music production tutorials.
