I'm a 21 year old student who loves to make music. I sample, play midi synthesizers, and even use real instruments (I can play piano and guitar pretty well). I typically just mess around with various sounds and try to make music I would listen to. Tell me if you like anything...all beats are available, and I have plenty more not on the page (plus, I'm always making more/reworking old tracks). I'm always looking to meet rappers/mcs/singers/collaborators.
Some of my beats still don't have bass (a few are intentionally that way, the others I'm just lazy...) and most of these are works in progress. I occasionally reopen old songs to tweak em'...let me know if you like something but think it needs something more!

Why this name?
A co worker used to call me Adam Ant after the 1980s rock singer and I liked that adamant also meant perseverance and determination and I just kind of went with it. It might not be permanent though, I've been trying to think of something better (I guess that is semi-ironic).
Do you play live?
Not yet, not that I'd be opposed, but I don't have the right type of equipment or personnel
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes everything easier (publicity, sampling, downloading, on and on), but it kind of takes the fun out of it...analog is where it's at. I love vinyl...nothing sounds better than a record on a turntable! Musicians used to have to toil to make music (especially DJs), and even though it's easier now, I think it's nice to try to stay close to the music's roots, especially hip hop (ala turntablism, sampling, etc.)!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes

Your influences?
