I am a self-taught producer who loves ALL music. Seriously.

I sample, and play keyboard/synths. I mess around with piano, and guiatar, drums,

I make music that I would listen to and/or music which I have never heard.
If you enjoy it, too - well, that's awesome!

I have hundreds of other beats which are not on the page
Plus, I'm always making more/reworking old tracks.
I'm always looking to meet co-producers/rappers/singers/collaborators, so please don't be shy!

NOTE: These beats are my intellectual property and are ready for sale (unless noted as PROMO ONLY/featuring).
Why this name?
Adamant is defined as resistant to reason; determined; inflexible; unshakeable; unyielding.

Being adamant about my own style is important to me.

Do you play live?
Not yet, not that I'd be opposed, but I don't have the right type of equipment or personnel
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes everything easier (publicity, sampling, downloading, on and on), but it kind of takes the fun out of it...analog is where it's at.

I love vinyl...nothing sounds better than a record on a turntable!

Musicians used to have to really work to make music (especially DJs), and even though it's easier now, which is nice in some ways, I think it's nice to try to stay close to the music's roots, especially hip hop (ala turn-tablism, sampling, etc.)!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably

Your influences?
J Dilla is my favorite producer, but I can't emulate him, he did his own thing.

I love all music, and so it all influences me in some way.

I especially love soul, funk, classic rock, reggae, jazz, indie, world, and blues.

And I think Beethoven and Mozart are amazing...two of the finest talents ever.
Favorite spot?
The West Coast.

The 510, 415, 541, and 503 are my mainstays.
Equipment used:
Rokit 6 studio monitors, alesis mixer, stanton t.90 turntables, stanton mixer, audio technica mic, sony studio headphones, Korg R3, APC 40 for ableton, an m-audio sound card, pro tools, cheap electronic drum set, ableton live, sony acid pro, 61-key midi controller, alesis drum machine, tons of synth programs, my guitar, my harmonica, and a few secret toys which I will never reveal.

Mostly, my brain, heart, and intuition!
Anything else...?
Vinyl>MP3.
