I'm a 22 year old who loves to make music. I sample, play midi/real synthesizers, and even use real instruments (I can play piano and guitar okay). I typically just mess around with various sounds and try to make music I would listen to. Tell me if you like anything...all beats are available, and I have plenty more not on the page (plus, I'm always making more/reworking old tracks). I'm always looking to meet rappers/mcs/singers/collaborators.

Some of my beats still don't have bass (a few are intentionally that way, the others I'm just lazy...) and most of these are works in progress. I occasionally reopen old songs to tweak em'...let me know if you like something but think it needs something more!

I'm hoping to put out a mixtape very soon!

Also, many of these beats are my property, ready for resale (particularly ones without samples)...if you would like to work with me or possibly buy a beat let me know, but please do not infringe on my copyright.
Why this name?
I liked that adamant meant perseverance and determination and I just kind of went with it.
Do you play live?
Not yet, not that I'd be opposed, but I don't have the right type of equipment or personnel
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes everything easier (publicity, sampling, downloading, on and on), but it kind of takes the fun out of it...analog is where it's at. I love vinyl...nothing sounds better than a record on a turntable! Musicians used to have to toil to make music (especially DJs), and even though it's easier now, I think it's nice to try to stay close to the music's roots, especially hip hop (ala turntablism, sampling, etc.)!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably

Your influences?
J Dilla is my favorite producer, but I can't emulate him, he did his own thing.

I love all music though, and so it all influences me in some way or another.

I really love soul and blues.

And I think Beethoven and Mozart are amazing...two of the finest talents ever.
Favorite spot?
Anywhere on the West Coast.
Equipment used:
Rokit 6 studio monitors, alesis mixer, an m-audio sound card, pro tools, sony acid pro, midi controller, stanton mixer/turntable, alesis drum machine, synth programs, my guitar, my harmonica, etc.
