Mike Ash is an artist and musician who has recorded, produced and promoted numerous albums with many bands as well as solo work. Starting off in 1992 dabbling in punk rock and thrash noise which later turned to psychedelic experimental folk. Mike is best known for his work with Strangefire(2004 - 2008) and is currently working on his new project Decaying Orbit - New album, 'Noises From The Morgue' . Mike has released over 40 solo albums of varying genres yet always experimental, unorthodox and compelling. His newest solo release, 'The Heart Of Mara iz Distraction' was released in 2008 under Giglet Productions which has disbanded. It is now being re-released by Decaying Enterprises along with other older works soon to come. it allows musicians to share their talent and love for music in ways they might not otherwise be able to. It connects us through idea and sound.

Band History:
my music comes from the gut, emotion... I believe in honesty, my words are obscure for a reason, my reason is yet to be clear. I like to experiment with sound, noise, tone, I believe music should be as challenging and brutal as it needs to be, this is not a hobby for me, it is what I do.
