Hi, David Sims, 17, from Bedfordshire in England.
I have been writing music since I was 13. I was in a band once but work on my own stuff solely these days. Play trombone, piano, guitar and cornet and sing on my own tracks.
Why this name?
It's my name!
Do you play live?
I play live loads of times, but only on some occasions do I play my own music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has had very positive effects, now anybody can put their stuff out to be heard. It may have had negative effects at the top of the system but its been far more beneficial than derogatory
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course!
Your influences?
My favourite bands are Suede, Blur, Oasis and The Beatles, but I have a variety of influences from alternative rock, jazz and classical music.
Favorite spot?
The three best places on the planet are: Primrose Hill, Runnymede Memorial, Maulden Woods
Equipment used:
Borrowed stuff!
