The name is GNAW. I am a one man band and have been performing/producing/playing music for over 15 years. I'm currently living in an area where I don't have any talent around me so I took on the challenge of going it alone and attempting to make it sound not so. I play heavy, thick groove metal, speed metal or sometimes I will mix it up and throw in some hard rock, rock or even acoustic stuff. I'm pretty well rounded.
Why this name?
The letters are my initials.
Do you play live?
I do not play live anymore due to the area. But I do play live to the family! I have played so many places including the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC, Boathouse in Virginia Beach, all over North Carolina. So many awesome shows and great support for the music I play and love!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Revolutionary!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yup.
Band History:
I am looking for other artists to collaborate with that I can send tracks, they lay down on them and send them back to me, or I can lay guitars or beats for someone else.
Your influences?
I enjoy Machine Head, ill Nino, Chimera, Mudvayne, Slayer, Metallica, Bullet for my Valentine, Tool, Chevele, Harry Connick Jr.....anything with a groove - despite the genre.
