Louise Hirst is a Rock n’ Roll singer/songwriter from Bedfordshire, England. She is a wonderful female solo artist with a powerful melodic voice.
Louise wears her influences on her sleeve and creates a unique female Liam Gallagher/Weller sound that sounds great in both large and small venues.
She is influenced by songs with big melodies. Her favourite artists include The Beatles, Oasis, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, The Stone Roses, Richard Ashcroft, The Coral, Stereophonics, The Killers, Nirvana and The Smiths.

Do you play live?
I play mainly in the small acoustic venues in London however I'm wanting to play the larger venues.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'd love the industry to be how it was in the 90's but times have changed. It's all too technical for me!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I think I'd prefer an independant label but I'm happy as long as I can do what I want to do and they really supported my songs.
