Why this name?
sounds great because it is what it is, a project,my project. This was something I always wanted to do, record in a real studio.
Do you play live?
The east coast music awards jam session was the best. Not only was it live but the place was packed with drunking screaming fans. They really got excited when I played a song called Castle Bay. (I make reference to Sydney and Cape Breton.)
I sometimes play on the streets to make some walking around money.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
great exposure. Im new to it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
doubt it, but would consider having my songs published, and available for established artist to record. I'm not really in it for the money but I won't refuse any kind of payment, let say royalties.
Band History:
I played in cover bands since I was 14 as a drummer, bass player then guitar then lead. I progressed into having my own back up band doing lead vocals and lead guitar. Did this for many years and gave up when I moved away from Cape Breton.
Today I play once in a while, looking into open mic stages at bars.
I recently got into playing the harmonica with the accoustic, fun.
I want to record another cd with some harmonica in my new material.

Your influences?
Singer songwriters like Neil Young catch my ear. Like I said I'm into playing the harmonica with the accoustic with original songs. It's different than plahying the electric lead guitar as I used to do.
Band like Blue Rodeo's early stuff I find challenging (I want to write like them)

Favorite spot?
The parks in Ottawa, and along the Reidou canal (can't spell it right) near downtown on a sunny day. Looking into open mic nights where serious musicians play.
Equipment used:
Accoustic and harmonica.
Anything else...?
looking for a studio to record another project this spring and summer.
