Why this name?
Jesse looked up at the sky and said "Oh. The snow is mixed with rain." Everett decided that would make a good band name.
Do you play live?
Our town only has one venue where minors can play, and the owner is a mean-spirited drug addict.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, it's already killed the album. Songs are songs now, not experiences like they were when vinyl was popular.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends entirely on the amount of artistic control given to us in the contract. We'd prefer an indie label in most circumstances.
Band History:
We started playing sometime last year, near the end of March, for no reason other than a friend wanted to sing for a nu-metal band... For some reason, instead of playing nu-metal, we ended up playing The Knack and Twisted Sister covers...
...After we realized he couldn't sing, we fired him and started playing horror punk, which somehow morphed into folk-pop, then into pop-punk, and finally into what we play now...
...We're still looking for a drummer and places to play gigs, neither of which we've had much luck with... Thankfully, we've acquired a cowbell and an 80s sounding keyboard, so we should be ok. Currently, we're working on an epic adaptation of the Wizard Of Oz soundtrack.

Your influences?
Our biggest influence is definitely The Beatles, even if it can't be heard in the music... Other, more direct, influences are The Misfits, The Velvet Underground, The Turtles, blink-182, The Dresden Dolls, Kimya Dawson, Sleep Station, and Nirvana.
Favorite spot?
Nashville. We're planning on busking there once we have transportation, and hoping for a Violent Femmes-esque experience.
Equipment used:
Marshall and Ibanez amps, Yamaha and Ibanez guitars, a custom SX bass, and Casio keys.
