Why this name?
A fellow rapper whom I've known for some time came up with Frequent C. I wear hearing aids and he thought about the frequency waves that come from it. Instead of being called Frequency, I was officially named Frequent C.
Do you play live?
Not at the moment, but I'm hoping to get some gigs somewhere.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It brings out people and lets others know how they feel and the way they express themselves. Music is to have fun.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, of course, but under some circumstances, like if they're really making a good deal for me.
Band History:
Back in 2006, I used to roll with a crew called Infamous 4. The music we were recording weren't at my full potential because mostly the songs we recorded were on the R&B genre. The songs I recorded with the group sucked. So I disbanded the crew around 2008, and started recording solo. Now, I run my own home studio, run my own label along with my 2 friends who are co-owners of the label called DNC Entertainment, and have a new crew that record for the love of music.
DNC Members:
Dougy Black
Neco
Frequent C
Crip Rabbit
Whitebread
Rah
J Love
Phase
Your influences?
Eminem, Nas, Lil Wayne, Papoose, Akon, Fat Joe, Jon Young, J Cash
Favorite spot?
I'm a city person, so basically all I got to say is, I LOVE NEW YORK!
I vacation in Florida occasionally, but my neighborhood is where it's at.
Equipment used:
FL Studio, Cool Edit Pro 2.1, Planetronics Microphone(at the moment)
