I feel like I've been rapping forever... I've been messing around in Hip-Hop (recording) since '98, but I've only started taking it serious '08... And even then I'm still terrible... But I'm getting there...
Why this name?
My mom nicknamed me Mookie after Mookie Wilson of the '86 Mets who gave the mets a huge hit in the bottom of the 9th against the Boston Red Sox... The whole "It gets through Buckner" thing -- Check out the intro (How I Got It) off my first album (From Point A to Point B) for further explanation...
Do you play live?
I might rock a crowd of 4 or 5 every now and then... But hopefully 1 day I'll have something a little more special to tell you.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's essential, it's the future, it's the now. If you aren't online you aren't doing it right.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not.
