My name is Jettsen Walker Cavazos and I never dreamed I would be in the situation that I am in today. Rapping was that thing I always thought was interesting and liked to listen to, but never imagined being involved in. I am 15 years old now and have been involved with music since I was 9. My dad owned his own record company and has worked with a lot of prominent industry people throughout his life, and my older brother who is a producer with my father called "Dos'Ce" influenced my decision to start writing.

One day they came home with a beat and I wrote to it and laid down a verse to them and they couldn't believe it. I guess that's how it all started ! I'm from a small town in Michigan called Wyandotte. My friends and I refer to it as "The Dot". Even though its small town right on the Detroit river right across from Canada, its been a great place to grow up. Not many people know that I rap, an actually I hate to refer to myself as a rapper because as I consider myself to be a lyricist instead.I try to keep it a secret so that I am not known as somebody besides who I really am, and that is simply... Jett.

My mom is a big influence on my writing, and I owe my whole career to her, not to mention my whole life... literally. Without her being the strong person she is, I would not even be alive today. That's a story that if you like my music enough maybe you will want to know who I really am. I don't like being called a rapper, there's too many stereotypes that come along with it. I would call myself a poet I guess, but even if you were around me you would never think I can rap. There is something about a sweet beat that makes me pick up a pen and paper and write. "I just let all my feelings leak out on to the paper".

My debut album is currently in production and I assure you it will be unlike anything you've heard before. "I'm not cocky but all my tracks blazin', just peep a few and then youll understand what im sayin'" Peace 2 All !
