My name is George Granado and my project Quantum Collision, is a form of musical expression that if musical classification is a requirement would find its home in progressive rock, jazz fusion etc.... It is a continuously evolving summation of past and present influences.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It levels the playing field. It gives the truly talented (or everyone for that matter) a chance to be heard in the world of music without regards to instituion or politics.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I dont think that question applies to a prog band...LOL, but sure, as long as i have complete creative control of my music. The beauty of our times is that we can choose to be free from the indirect pretense of the music industry and just exist simply because we make music.
Your influences?
As far as the Quantum Collision project is concerned:

Equipment used:
Depends on the situation. As far as the guitar work is concerned. For heavier, to fusion material, i use an ESP MK custom guitar, 70's Charvel, Fender strat with humbuckers, and a Killer guitar from Japan.
For lighter material, i use a Ibanez GB10 from the 70's.
