Band History:
Aqua Livi rose to prominence in the '80s with 'Urban Warrior', Reading's first official roots reggae band. Urban Warrior performed their first gig at The Studio One Club in Slough, and went on to tour national festivals like Stonehenge, Glastonbury and Notting Hill Carnival. Europe and Japan followed and Urban Warrior became the first international reggae band to tour Sudan in North East Africa.

He describes the sound of his background singers as "like birds", as nature is a constant source of inspiration. Enjoyment is the key to his music - if people take something spiritual away from the gig, then that's fine with Aqua.

Anything else...?
"I like things with substance... I grew up with Bob Marley, Ken Booth, Jimmy Cliff - original, classic reggae. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned... Reggae should have substance... I'm more on a mission than competition."
