Why this name?
They used to call me Casualty ,,,,, i started writing it with a "K" "Kasualty" ... then that was shortened up to "Kas" ...I stuck with that for a while ... then , I realized that i did all my music by myself , and thats where the "Solo" came in !
plus ... Hanz Solo ..... Kas Solo ....ha ha ,,, just has a nice ring to it!!! or ... it could be that i googled it and nothing came up for it!!! .....

Do you play live?
I perform live very often! I love it! I throw my own shows, and do all the booking! if u are close and interested ... contact me and i will check you out and see if you would fit into our scene! or if youre far away and just wanna get away , contact me ... i may be able to work something out with you!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it is a good change .... If you can get great music for free! and these people that sell their cds for 15 to 20 bucks ,,, and its all basically the same song sung by many different artists ,, in my opinion ... it will separate good from commercial!! the real listeners know what im talking about!! but im not knocking anyone ... i feel everyone does their thing in their own way!!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would depend on the label! I wouldnt change a thing in the way i write or think! ,,, If its a record label where i have complete freedom ... absolutely! Im not against having money at all! I would just choose to use my money on something that would benefit our youth !!!
Your influences?
My musical influences are those that create original music!!
Favorite spot?
right here at home .... Lincoln Park , Mi ...... this is my roots ... this is where i was born and raised!
