Five Star (based in Miami, Florida) was founded in 2001, is a team of harmonic producers/musicians, consisting of “Goldeneye” , “Mo-x-clusive”, “S.R." and “Jadon”. Introduced at church, each member drawn to each other by their ability to play different instruments, like the trumpet, bass, guitar, drums, piano, flute, tuba, timpani and the xylophone. In 2003, they purchased their first recording equipment and therefore started on creating their on art form of music. 6 years into their career, they started doing some production for local artist; such acts included Pleasure, Brisco, J Grand, Slim Gutta, Neo Brown & Jaydoe, Frank Kastle, 6Tre, Ghost Squad and 3 Kingz. A trademark of their production style so far has been to create any melody or harmony that comes in to mind be it techno, folk or southern hip-hop. They also include an intro pattern followed by the sound of a shooting star. It is predominantly heard at the beginning of every song they produce. Dormant to the music industry, their hoping the industry could bras itself for the renaissance that will be known as Five Star, the new era of music.
