Sup y'all! Well, we're Angela and Shaina... We started singing together because Angela wrote a song and wanted to collaborate with someone. Hence, Shangela came to be.
Why this name?
Well... our name started as a joke. Shangela is a ridiculous name, but it just kind of stuck.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps people share all different types of music... It's a great tool to help get your music heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Your influences?
Well, Angela's more into pop and modern day r&b, Shaina leans more towards pop/rock and jazz. We both enjoy many different types of music, so we our influences come from all different genres.
