Why this name?
The infected plague of the earth brought us DamneDNation! We chose this name to bring shelter to the lost souls that were misguided! The world is f***ed up as well as our nation-therefore becoming DamneDNatioN!
Do you play live?
We come into contact with many individuals that WILL NOT have anything to do with DamneDNatioN. Weve had plenty of cancelled shows due to terror! On the other hand, weve played bars, The Emerson Theatre, homies houses, Backyards, Front lawns, big bi*** brawls and Orgies!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
These days, it makes the effort that you put forward PAY OFF! collaborations are much simpler, access to other artists seem possible and ideas come to life! MP3s are the shit!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes......but ONLY major underground labels!
Band History:
St. Macula's mama was friends with a woman that was also friends with Hatchet's mama-they met at 9 yrs. old, attending family holiday gatherings and whatnot.
We met again back in late '98-early '99 & have been conducting music ever since!
We started out as Seeded Incissions with the intention of severing heads off with lyrical lacerations. We had no access to equipment other than basic cassette recorders and acquired beats that go BOOM!!!
Years later in 2005 we changed the name to Concussion and got involved with a piece of sh*** local rapper named Kidd Nastie a.k.a Spongebath, Lil oxy-pad and/or Don Cock. The kid could rap just fine and he joined the rap group which as a whole, was signed to a bullshit label called I.E.E (Inner Evil Entertainment) this kid enjoyed to steal flows from other rappers which include King Gordy.
We recorded about 3 songs-Another World, Dazed & Feeding on Flesh! Feeding on Flesh got #1 on Cryptic Radio for 3 months before they started talking maddd sh*** about the 2 of us......turns out Cryptic Radio & Lil F***wad had been 2faced ALL ALONG!
Before we up & left the label,(that wouldnt come thru on ANY of the benifits on the label) Hatchet Ryda released a disturbing solo EP entitled "THE INFIRMARY PROJEKT #666"(which is still available thru the group). The last track of the CD was entitled "INNER EVIL" where he rips a hole in the labels lungs! We were supposed to do a show in our hometown, but the kid had been planning on taking everyones $$$ and saying they cancelled the show! HELL, this kid made some flyers and even MISSPELLED the name of the group he was in....REDICULOUS!
We changed the name of the rap group to DamneDNatioN & began quickly busting out sh*** for our Self Titled LP that we had been writing for so long!
That album finally was completed by late '06-early '07! The masterpiece is also sold underground thru us and can be purchased for only $8. We played a bar show for that album as well as a SLEW of house shows n shit!
In 2008, DamneDNatioN blew SELF-TITLED out of the ballpark and to the moon when they released and finally RE-MASTERED their next album entitled: "The F1rST Supper" and played The F*** You Fest with Final Notice, Psycho Jesus, King Gordy & High Treazon. The show was f***ing amazing and we currently still have f*** you fest T-shirts for sale for only $15 duckets! (COP ONE)
In late 2008 (Nov.15) we were set to play the Crump Theatre in Columbus, IN. Heres what happened.............
.......the lady from the venue had us get a scheduled bill for the show. This kid had a metal band playing (we STILL dont know the name of them, but ill slap em if i find out)! Hatchet put together a badass bill for the show:

3 days prior to the show, the lady told us that if she didnt cancel the show-the mayor of Columbus was gonna shut down her theatre. Therefore all of the acts STILL want to do a show as soon as we get another venue...there will be others there as well!!!
Exactly 1 month later-DamneDNatioN was interviewed by East Side Ninjas Radio Live....go to blogtalk.com to download it for free---shit was chaotic!!
So which brings us to now, we have a lot of new sh*** & were workin on it RIGHT NOW! hitting up the studio and so far the featured artists on the album is: Wombstretcha the magnificent, Highly X-Plicit, Holocaust, The Scream Team, The F***ed Up Kings & High Treazon!!!
