We are highly skilled, critically acclaimed musicians who attack every note with pinpoint accuracy and precision timing. Well, we're highly skilled musicians who attack every note. Ok, we're just 4 guys who like to play music on Saturday.

The following quotes are from interviews that took place shortly after the formation of the band and are included in the forthcoming IMAX video documentary entitled "Audio Inertia--The Early Years of Greatness".
Here is an interesting sneek peek into the psyche of the members of A.I.
"Well, I am interested in pretty much anything with 'Drums' in it. Drums are quite possibly the singular most important element in a band or any sort of music, for that matter. A beat full of well placed and well timed fills transforms an otherwise monotonous or dull song into something brilliant and extraordinary! Here's the thing--normal people like you and I could have literally thousands of CD's full of nothing but drum tracks and loops and we would be absolutely cool with that. Probably could go on happy like that for 100 years! Sure, other elements of a song are necessary too, but as soon as the drums stop... whoooosh... there goes the excitement."

"Guitars are it for me, and what a GREAT song needs is a shredding guitar which is what I bring to this band. A GREAT song needs a good steady rhythm guitar and a few good licks for accent to really give it life. Look - it's like this: Normal people buy and burn CD's for insane guitar sounds, effects, screaming solos and rapid pulsating guitars. 'Harmony' is the name of the game! If guitars were the only thing, people would be happy for 100 years. Sure, other elements of a song that are necessary too, but as soon as the guitars stop ... whoosh ... there goes the excitement."
- Bryson
"I'm sure the other guys are talking about how important THEIR part in the band is, but the simple fact remains that if the band were a human body, the bass would be - the brain", says Jon Purdue, bassist for Audio Inertia. "If you don't have the bassist doing his thing, there is no flow. The rest of the band becomes empty. Not as full. It's like the band is brain dead. If all that existed on CD's were bass lines and bass loops, we'd all live for an extra 100 years. Sure, other elements of the song are necessary too, but as soon as the bass stops playing ... whoosh ... there goes the excitement."
- Jon
"I am B-Man. I'm the singer. The voice, of course, is the most powerful and beautiful instrument in the world. No other instrument needs so much time and dedication to it for flawless perfection. If a band didn't have any vocals, what would you be? Some band your grandparents listened to! Bottom line is if we had CD's that only had great singers on it, we'd live for 1,000 years. Yes, 1,000 years! Sure, other elements of the song are necessary too, but if you take away the vocals, it's just boring, painful, mindnumbing noise."
