Civilians was formed in 1991 - and comprised Warren Butson and Simon Lewis on joint lead vocals, Aquilla Fearon on backing vocals, Paul Clark on lead & rhythm guitar, Xander deVries on keyboards and backing vocals, James Winchester on bass guitar and Michael Lyons on drums and programming.

Between 1991 and 1992 mainly on the London circuit - Mean Fiddler, Powerhouse, Rock Garden, The Grand and Cartoon etc.
