Purpus Produkshunz is a movement years in the making. Formed by longtime friends Adam Trapp and Brendan McQuade, Purpus is a reunion, symbolizing unity, respect, peace,
and of course, purpose.

Coming up in Hamilton, Ontario (or Steel City), both Adam and Brendan have witnessed firsthand the harsh consequeces of streetlife, drug abuse,
having lost friends and freedom. Despite these obstacles, they have overcome through hard work, and now use music to convey a positive, socially conscious message.

Dissatisfied with the commercial state of hip-hop, they make music for people to really relate to: for students, workers, hustlers, parents, prisoners,
from the streets to the suburbs and everywhere in between - they make music to make you bounce, bop, feel and think.
