A modern "rambling country bluesman," Coyote Slim currently lives on a farm in western Sonoma County.
Why this name?
The "Slim" part of my name is easy to explain. Lots of folks know me by Slim. "Coyote" comes from my days smuggling Mexicans over the border -- or from the fact that my sense of humor gets me in trouble, take your pick.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet gives more of a chance to individualistic iconoclasts. The industry will always have the money to promote via any media, though. Internet or no internet, you have to pay the piper to get your stuff out there in a big way.
Your influences?
Charley Patton, Johnny Shines, Son House, RL Burnside, Sonnyboy Williamson (both of 'em), Memphis Minnie, Jessie Mae Hemphill, etc, etc
