Yung Rod~I am a up and coming rapper from Charlotte, NC trying to make my way to the top just like any other up and coming rapper. I have been featured on a few songs which are on the page. Before rapping I used to do the production of beats, but enjoyed rapping more so thats what I decided to do.
Why this name?
I chose the name Yung Rod because of my given name which is Sherrod, and im only 18 which means im young.
Do you play live?
No, I dont play live yet..but I wanna get a couple shows in line and see how it goes from there.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes the music industry alot! For good & bad, more people get access 2 ur music and buy it and then u have the niggas that go download ur sh*** and u dont get paid 4 something u worked hard for.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
of course!

Right now im into the whole southern rapping thing seeing that I am from the south.

Favorite spot or city....uhh I would have to say home with my niggas
Equipment used:
I use my laptop, and a studio recording microphone to record the tracks, and my n*** Shawn Cruse aka Sik Kidd does beats over fruity loops
