Crystallize
Crystallize is a branch of our joint musical creations. We focus more on melodies, lyrics and vocals in this endeavor. Still having lots of electronic influence, but including more world music, pop and acoustic sounds.
Why this name?
I make jewelry and love stones and crystals. I love the idea that the energy of stones is the same of sound and light waves, like our voices and our bodies.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet opens up a whole world of connections and opportunities. So much easier to find new and amazing music and people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes
Band History:
A mix of classically trained and self taught, we come together and use our strenghts and weaknesses to create. It is a great way to connect with each other on a different level.

A friend, Cass, a fellow music student back in college is a great inspiration a great song writer.
Me and my man fell in love listening to Dido, Manu Chau, Outkast, India, Marc Anthony, Angeliqe Kidjo, I still love them.
Now I am crazy about belly dance and middle eastern music. I love Natacha Atlas. I love traditional drum solos with tabla or darbuka. I love drumming.
I still love the music of Mali, such a beautiful weaving of sounds. Thanks UT peeps for the introduction to African music!
