This is the first volume of Carols and Christmas Songs to go with the Storybook Advent Calendar. The songs and carols have been performed on the piano and have a warm feel to them with a soft hint of jazz. There is a degree of humour, you can imagine yourself sitting behind a trotting horse on Jingle Bells; you can hear the Gregorian Choir singing on O Come, O Come, Emmanuel and be haunted by the gentleness of Away in a Manger. All the renditions bring out the true spirit of the the many beautiful songs and carols for Christmas.
The mp3s have been prefixed with numbers 01-20 to retain the playing order that suit this compilation.
